Tomorrow my kids and I will have the privilege of participating in a wonderful event called 77kids Do Good Day.
77kids by american eagle (yes, apparently it’s supposed to be all lower case), is opening seven new stores this summer, including one in the Cherry Hill Mall here in NJ. To celebrate, 77kids worked with The Motherhood to recruit seventy-seven mom bloggers in 11 cities across the country to spread some “goodness” in their local communities in pay-it-forward kinds of ways.
Here in New Jersey, we’ll have a “gratitude station” at the Children’s Discovery Museum (from 2pm – 5pm) where families can fill out a card, draw a picture, or send a message to thank a soldier and/or veteran, via Operation Gratitude. There will also be face painting, snacks, goody bags, coupons, and 77 dollar bills we’ll give out with a list of “seven good things that you can do with a dollar.”
Here’s the New Jersey Team:

and me!
These rockin’ Jersey girls planned the event while I was, um, on vacation… and I’ll be honored to participate and be in their company tomorrow. To find out what other cities are celebrating 77kids Do Good Day, check out The Motherhood (see the right column under Related Links for cities and teams). Come out and join us if you’re nearby, or just do a good deed of your own tomorrow!
Disclaimer: I am being compensated by 77kids for my participation in Do Good Day on July 14, 2010. I am NOT being compensated for this post or any other mentions of the event.
