Today’s Reverb10 Prompt: 5 minutes. Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2010 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2010.

I’m honestly going to do this in five minutes and list out all that 2010 has brought me. Ready? Go!

  • Our cruise.
  • My daughter’s emotions, the highs and lows of a 6 year old drama queen. “Whatevah.”
  • My son growing more and more like me.
  • Seeing the Cake Boss live.
  • My husband spraining his ankle.
  • The passing of my Grandmother.
  • Watching my cousin in the Junior College World Series via the internet and thinking how cool it is I get to see it.
  • Wok ‘n Walk Tour of Philly’s Chinatown.
  • Planning for a highly anticipated ski trip to Colorado.
  • Scrapbooking in the Poconos.
  • Settlers of Catan tournament.
  • Joining a new homeschool co-op and forging deeper friendships.
  • BlogHer and the 5K, Tutus For Tanner
  • Watching my daughter play softball and my son play baseball.
  • My daughter’s first dance recital.
  • My son winning an Age of Empires tournament.
  • My daughter’s singing.
  • My husband practicing guitar for Tabcon.
  • Seeing Next to Normal on Broadway.
  • Visiting the Intrepid Museum on a viciously windy and rainy day.
  • My friend having a healthy baby girl when everyone told her the odds were against her.
  • Meeting Thomas Jefferson and having him speak to our homeschool group.
  • Seeing Wicked.

Five minutes. I did go back and add the links and edit after the five minutes was done, but the list itself was done in five minutes.

To sum up 2010: Family, Friends and Travel. And you know what? That is exactly how I’d like to remember ALL my years.
