Smencils & Suess: Great Gifts For Your Preschooler

by Shannon on 11.16.09

Next in my 12 Days of Christmas series is a product that any preschooler would love: Smencils by Educational Insights. These colored pencils give off a glorious scent as you color – and the scent lasts for quite a while on your child’s artwork. Made from 100% recycled newspapers, they are individually packed in their own freshness tubes so they’re guaranteed to keep their aromas for two years. At $10 for 10 pencils, they’d make a great “secret santa” gift, too.

suess-gamesYour preschooler will also love these Dr Seuss Classic Card Games. You’ll get ABC Memory Game, Crazy 8′s and Go Fish with an all-star cast of beloved Seuss characters. The games are $15, but I’ve got a set to giveaway today.

Yeah, colorful pencils are great gifts. Kids like to draw / paint much more if the colors look good.

Ha! We had scented markers when I was growing up but not scented pencils. They would be a hit at my house, and so would those cute cards.
